Angela and Elio are a match made in heaven, just a perfect blend of personalities.  I loved working with them for their engagement and bridal portrait sessions.  A traditional Catholic Wedding can be a beautiful thing, especially with a reception at Las Fuentes by Emporium Hall.  The De La Rosa family chose this beautiful space next to Cordi Marian to ensure Angela's mother would be close to the wedding celebration.  If she were still with us today, there is no doubt she would have been dancing, laughing and enjoying the happiness that surrounded Angela and Elio on their summer wedding day in San Antonio.  The couple was married at Prince of Peace Catholic Church and then took a drive to Hyatt Hill Country for some wedding day portraits.  We then joined their guests for a lively party serenaded by mariachi's, toasts and dancing.  Gorgeous pink blooms were the perfect touch for this elegant wedding hall managed by Emporium.  Cakes N More created a delicious and elegant white five tier wedding cake adorned with fresh pink blooms from Blume Haus.  The grooms cake was even more impressive: A Maker's Mark Barrel replica complete with mini Maker's Mark bottles, the groom's liquor of choice.  It was a beautiful wedding!  Leave some well wishes for the happy couple below!   De Leon WeddingRound cut diamond wedding ring with diamond halo.

You could sense Spencer's excitement boiling over in his email just a few weeks ago.  He had a plan to propose to his girlfriend Taylor, but he knew he also wanted to be sure to hire a photographer to capture that perfect day!  He had asked the parents, made sure her brother would be in town to celebrate.  He chose the amazing Becker Vineyards to set the scene in the romantic Texas Hill Country.  On a warm Sunday afternoon in June they made their way through a private tour at this historic Fredericksburg winery.  They saw the barrel room and sampled many different wines.  They climbed down into The Library and learned about the history of vineyard and sampled from the "Reserve Wine Library".  All the while, Spencer had the ring in his pocket ready to go!  As they made their way through the winding green vines, Spencer dropped to one knee and popped the question!  It was amazing to catch her reaction.  We then took their first engagement photos in all their favorite spaces.  This surprise set a precedent for the many years to come!  Congratulations to the happy couple!

The first birthday is so important to commemorate with a portrait session.  We love to have a fun, messy time with our baby portrait sessions.  The first birthday cake smash session includes a custom set with a themed cake provided by Little Muse Cakes.  We're celebrating this July Birthday Boy with a Red, White and Blue set design!

Our photo sessions for babies are super flexible to work with the baby's temperament, but include up to an hour photoshoot.  We typically allow baby to get used to the space and are ready to shoot when he's ready to play.  The set design and cake are all ready to go, plus a clean up crew!

Springtime in Texas is amazing, especially with the abundant rainfall we have had this year!  The bluebonnets and Indian paintbrushes are singing in the fields and parks all across South Central Texas, making for some gorgeous locations to shoot portraits.  Josephine chose one of her favorite walking trails at Mission County Park along the San Antonio River to have her bridal portraits, and it made for the perfect bridal portrait location!  Indian paintbrushes are her favorite Texas wildflowers, and the trail featured these blooms.  This is a special place for her and her fiance Ken, as they spent a lot of time during their engagement enjoying these recreational areas for walking.  Keep in mind that wildflower shoots are just that: wild!  So we kept a close eye on the area to make sure to capture her just as the wildflowers were blooming in April.  Here are some of her favorites!  Josephine is a pre-k teacher, and was such a dream to work with.  I can't wait to share some of her wedding day portraits from this past weekend as well!  Stay tuned!

Currently listening to Muse as I reminisce through these gorgeous images we captured at The Veranda for Sylvia and Michael last September. They had the San Antonio Strings Violin, Cello, Viola, & Voice Lessons play some choice selections from Muse as they walked down the aisle.  This was just the sweetest couple, and they deserved every unforgettable moment of this beautiful wedding day in the heart of San Antonio.

Catholic Wedding at Our Lady of The Lake University Chapel

It all started the day Matthew Hernandez decided to take a leap of faith and send a friend request on Facebook to the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, Catherine Rodriguez.  Lucky for him, she accepted, and this began a high school romance just before Kat was about to head to college in San Marcos.  The two would cross paths once more, leading to a long-distance relationship that would stand the test of time and IH35 traffic.  

Ten years later, they celebrated the Sacrament of Marriage on March 2, 2019 at The Sacred Heart Chapel at Our Lady of the Lake University and enjoyed an evening reception at the picturesque Villa at Cielo Vista in the hills overlooking the San Antonio Skyline.  It has been an absolute pleasure to photograph them and their friends and family.  Enjoy some of my favorite moments from their day.

Lisa and Taylor love to watch The Lord of the Rings movies and when they saw Southwest School of Art, they knew it would be perfect for this theme for their February 2019 wedding.  They planned the entire event from afar as they were both deployed during their engagement.  I had many late night email conversations with Lisa while she was on the other side of the world.  It worked out, because I was up in the middle of the night with my newborn.  It was a cold and rainy winter day in San Antonio, but Lisa and Taylor opted for a first look in the garden, and I'm so grateful for them braving the weather for some beautiful portraits before their ceremony and even after the wedding dinner.  Enjoy!

Happy New Year Friends!  January has already been such a busy month, meeting new people including welcoming several new brides planning their 2019 and 2020 weddings.  So many of our brides find us after seeing us do amazing work for their friends and family, or as referrals from other wedding professionals, (I am so grateful).  But some find Aria Productions from seeing the amazing work we do featured in San Antonio Weddings Magazine.  We are excited to be nominated for a cover contest and we currently have 3 images in the running.  Go check them out and please vote for these beautiful couples!

Kerriann and Nicholas celebrated the sacrament of marriage at St. Peter Prince of the Apostle Catholic church in San Antonio, Texas on a gorgeous  spring day in May of 2018.  After their beautiful ceremony we shot their portraits with the bridal party at The Pearl where the couple spent much of their engagement, since they lived a block from the riverwalk.  We then captured their beautiful reception at Magnolia Halle.  See their love story below.

Sarah and Daniel are the sweetest couple and were so deserving of the perfect fairytale wedding they had surrounded by their family and friends.  It was a chilly November day, and a last minute call was made to move the ceremony indoors.  House of Blooms and Noah's Event Venue staff made the ceremony space an elegant and romantic setting.  After they took their vows, Sarah and Daniel danced the night away with Sarah's brother as DJ.  Shortly before calling it a night they treated their guests to a taco bar catered by Heavenly Gourmet.  Congratulations to this beautiful couple, and cheers to a lifetime of happiness and joy!

I shot the cutest Halloween Themed baby shower for Bronte and Chas at The Guenther House in San Antonio.  Hosted by Bronte's mother, Emeralda Madison, this was a perfect location for a brunch shower with amazing baked breakfast breads and their amazing brunch menu.   It was a brisk Sunday morning perfectly setting the scene for an October Baby Shower.  The fall leaves shading the Veranda were a perfect spot for some group photos with guests as well.  Congratulations to the new parents and here's to a happy and healthy birth!

I've been photographing the Kearney Family since just before little Olivia was brought into the world.  I am so honored they have invited me back year after year to capture their beautiful little family.  They say the days are long, but yes the years are so short.  It's so important to document these little ones every year.  For my family sessions, it's important to me to capture their little personalities.  Olivia is a fashionable, feisty, fun little girl.  She had several poses ready for me to capture, and she had several hair accessories that were important to her.  We enjoyed running through the tall grass at Cibolo Nature Center and enjoying a pleasant October evening before the cool front and rains came into the South Texas region.  We were also sure to grab a quick headshot for my dear friend Brooke.  Check out some of my favorites from their fall family session.

Kady and Joshua have to be one of the sweetest couples I've ever had the pleasure of working with.  I just adored how they held hands and looked at each other lovingly throughout their September rainy day wedding in Uvalde, TX.  Even though it pretty much rained throughout the entire day, they were all smiles because they were so happy to be married and to be with the people they love the most.
