This year has flown by, and I cannot believe that Baby Mayes has turned 1!  I photographed her parents wedding, it seems like just yesterday.  I was so honored when they invited me to their home to photograph their maternity and newborn session for this sweet little girl.  It's been so fun watching her grow up to a gorgeous, active, smart little girl who loves all things glitz and glam!  Mom says she loves to get into her jewelry and play with her high heel shoes!  What a better way to capture this milestone in a Gatsby themed first birthday cake smash session?  

Amy with Little Muse Cakes and Catering designed a perfect Gatsby themed cake for our cake smash portrait session.  She is so talented! At first, Marissa was not quite sure she wanted a taste of cake, but soon we were having a fun time making a mess!  We even got a good family picture with Mom and Dad.
