I recently filmed the wedding of Kristina and Garrett Herms at Park 31.  One amazing thing that this beautiful couple did, that really enhance the flow of their wedding film, was they opted to read their vows to each other during the wedding ceremony.  If you can speak from the heart directly to each other during your ceremony or in a first touch private moment, it creates an authentic moment with touching expressions.  It can be tempting to allow a "repeat after me" approach to your vows, but that sometimes disrupts the flow of expression between the couple.  In your wedding film we want to show your personality, in your own words how you feel, and give future generations who will view this a peak into the history of their parents, grandparents.

The Soupley Family witnessed a dream come true wedding day as the first of their two talented twin daughters stepped down the aisle to marry Patrick Clark at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bandera, Texas.  As Victoria prepared for her wedding day, she was also toiling away at finishing her bachelor's degree away from home.  And so as this beautiful couple embarks on the journey into their marriage, you see their lives unfolding before them just as the Texas Hill Country rolled for miles beyond the edges of their wedding reception at J-D Ranch in Pipe Creek, Texas.

Ashley and Sam were married on a cold December day at Our Lady of the Lake University chapel. True to form in Texas, the power went out in the morning of their wedding.  With all wedding party members staying in the beautiful, newly renovated rooms at The Fairmount Hotel, they frantically scrambled to get dressed by window light.  This proved a challenge for the ladies to do hair without electricity and hot tools, but they worked together to make it work, and they all looked so gorgeous. Their day was only filled with joyful friends and family ready to celebrate their marriage. They dreamed of having an epic party to celebrate and dance. This is the story of that beautiful wedding day.

It was a sizzling hot day, but that made for a saucy fun dance floor as the Mr. & Mrs. Segura danced the night away after their wedding at Granberry Hills.  

The day began as many do, with makeup and bustling and rushing about to get ready for the big moment.  But from the moment Alex and Alexa locked eyes walking down the aisle with her dad, the tension lifted and was replaced with love absolutely as these two joined their lives.  Their beautiful songstress Izis Nieves Rosario started the party early on with her beautiful voice and vibrant spirit drawing the guests onto the dance floor to celebrate this joyful day.

After the challenging year of 2020, which took Rose & Victor's original wedding date, their reception was postponed to the summer of 2021.  The long wait made the celebration even sweeter after not being able to gather with our loved ones for so long.  "If you can make it through your first year of marriage with a pandemic, you can make it through anything."  Here is to the beautiful couple and all their family and friends who came together to dance, toast and celebrate their marriage.  See their Reception Highlight video below, but also take a look back at their beautiful wedding day.

It wasn't love at first sight for Leah and Garrett who first met while working at Fleet Feet shoe store.  But as time went on, and the two found that they had more in common and a love for dogs and running the couple knew they were a perfect match.  You can see their love story told in their wedding filmed at Lambermont Events in San Antonio, Texas.  Their families traveled from all over the country to celebrate the wedding and enjoy a candlelit reception under the stars of this historic venue.

Alex and Devon were married on a perfect spring day at The Club at Garden Ridge with their family and friends traveling from near and far.  This rustic yet elegant venue nestled in the oak trees in the Texas Hill Country is a dream setting to say "I Do".

John and Christine actually got married in Wisconsin in 2020, but the pandemic had prevented them from celebrating with their San Antonio family and friends. A visit home and stay at Hotel Havana was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding reception.

I loved everything about this New Year's Eve Wedding at Lost Mission with Audrey and Tyler Stevens.  I loved her amazing family and friends who each played a special part in their day and pulled together to make sure all the wedding day tasks were completed despite freezing cold rain, and accidents on the highways out to the venue.  I loved that her grandmother was the first one out on the dance floor and pulled Audrey out to claim her first.  I loved the amazing sweet story their friend and officiant told about how they met and are absolutely perfect for one another.  And I was blown away by their tender words to one another during their ceremony vows.  It was everything I love about weddings all wrapped up in the evening to help us put 2020 behind.

Two Brides at Geronimo Oaks

So many heartfelt and gorgeous words were spoken on this wedding day at Geronimo Oaks between Camille and Sigrid and all the family and friends that came together to love and support them. We love when our couples can be open and vulnerable in expressing their love and gratitude on film. It is an honor to capture such amazing moments on film. Camille & Sigrid said I do at the top of a hilltop by their Texas rustic wedding venue in New Braunfels.  Before their ceremony they each sent gifts that brought tears and laughter.  We so appreciate when our couples open up and are vulnerable to express their story and how they really feel about the commitment they are making to each other.  As a blended family they took part in a sand ceremony with their three sons to signify how their 5 lives are now bonded together.  

Their toasts were also filled with affirmational word of love and encouragement from their community of friends and family.  We love to capture the toasts in the telling of the wedding day story.  The people who love you the most stand up and tell the world what about what an amazing couple you are.  It's the greatest gift.  See their wedding film here and some favorite photo moments below.  Leave some well-wishes for Camille and Sigrid in the comments!
