It was a sizzling hot day, but that made for a saucy fun dance floor as the Mr. & Mrs. Segura danced the night away after their wedding at Granberry Hills.

The day began as many do, with makeup and bustling and rushing about to get ready for the big moment. But from the moment Alex and Alexa locked eyes walking down the aisle with her dad, the tension lifted and was replaced with love absolutely as these two joined their lives. Their beautiful songstress Izis Nieves Rosario started the party early on with her beautiful voice and vibrant spirit drawing the guests onto the dance floor to celebrate this joyful day.

Ringing in the New Year with Audrey & Tyler at Lost Mission

I loved everything about this New Year's Eve Wedding at Lost Mission with Audrey and Tyler Stevens. I loved her amazing family and friends who each played a special part in their day and pulled together to make sure all the wedding day tasks were completed despite freezing cold rain, and accidents on the highways out to the venue. I loved that her grandmother was the first one out on the dance floor and pulled Audrey out to claim her first. I loved the amazing sweet story their friend and officiant told about how they met and are absolutely perfect for one another. And I was blown away by their tender words to one another during their ceremony vows. It was everything I love about weddings all wrapped up in the evening to help us put 2020 behind.

Two Brides at Geronimo Oaks

So many heartfelt and gorgeous words were spoken on this wedding day at Geronimo Oaks between Camille and Sigrid and all the family and friends that came together to love and support them. We love when our couples can be open and vulnerable in expressing their love and gratitude on film. It is an honor to capture such amazing moments on film. Camille & Sigrid said I do at the top of a hilltop by their Texas rustic wedding venue in New Braunfels. Before their ceremony they each sent gifts that brought tears and laughter. We so appreciate when our couples open up and are vulnerable to express their story and how they really feel about the commitment they are making to each other. As a blended family they took part in a sand ceremony with their three sons to signify how their 5 lives are now bonded together.

Their toasts were also filled with affirmational word of love and encouragement from their community of friends and family. We love to capture the toasts in the telling of the wedding day story. I am a San Antonio Native and have been through probably every nook and cranny to find the best spots for engagement portraits. Not only do I know some of the best San Antonio Engagement Portrait Locations, but I know what days of the week and time of day to avoid crowds, enjoy your shoot and have the best golden light portraits. As we get closer to your wedding date, here are a few locations to consider for your engagement portrait session with Aria Production.

Proximity to the wedding date:

It is ideal to shoot your engagement at least 6 months prior to the wedding date. Many couples will use these pictures to announce their engagement, send out Save The Date cards to guests especially those traveling from out of town, enhance their wedding website, post to their social media. So you may want to choose a location based on the season

San Antonio Wedding at Westin Riverwalk | Sara + Ali

Sara and Ali were married on December 20th at the Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. After getting ready in their hotel suites with riverwalk views, we captured their first look with Sara walking down the round staircase to meet her handsome groom. We photographed wedding day portraits on the Riverwalk with twinkling lights and winter colors in the tall trees.

Exquisite white and pale pink blooms enveloped the couple as they sat on a white settee to be admired by their guests. After their ring exchange the beautiful couple danced for the first time, cheered on by those who love them. They then hosted an intimate dinner with friends, family and coworkers in the elegant Hidalgo Ballroom.

My favorite moment was when the concierge rolled the three-tier, white round wedding cake onto the dance floor for all to witness the ceremonial cutting of the cake and toasts. The luxurious downtown hotel is the perfect venue for a romantic wedding reception in San Antonio, Texas. This was truly a romantic and gorgeous wedding, the perfect start to their lifetime together.

Wedding Fashion Show | Featuring Jasmine Bridal, Moonlight Bridal

One of the best things about being in the wedding industry is getting to know some of the most amazing and talented people who are just the best at creating the perfect day for my beautiful couples. We recently had the opportunity to come together for a Wedding Fashion Show featuring Brides By Elizabeth. This safe, socially distanced bridal and tuxedo fashion show was produced by Weddings and Event Design by Pamela and Lizzette Suarez of From His Garden Florals, Decor and Event Planning. The talented Chris Koval of Future Sounds announced the event. Catering by Celebrations provided yummy food, and the bar was tended by Magnolia Halle. Sweet treats were in abundance from Creations Cakes and Jane Dough Cakes. Our models were all dolled up by Love, Lipstick and Lashes. We had some amazing talent walking the runway, including two gorgeous flower girls.

Dancing in September at The Club at Garden Ridge | Katie + David

Catherine & David met in geometry class during summer before their sophomore year in high school. Little did they know, they had just met their soul mate they would eventually fall in love and forever go through life learning together. Seven years later on New Year's as the clock struck midnight, and the fireworks began to sprinkle over the Hayes Street Bridge, David got down on one knee, reached into his camera bag and pulled out a ring. As always their entire family was there to witness an amazing moment. It was important to them that they be able to witness their wedding.

They had to change their wedding date once, to ensure David's brother would be able to travel to be there for the wedding, and then the COVID pandemic put us all in limbo. As we got closer to the wedding date, Katie worked with her vendor team to ensure we would be able to pull off a safe, beautiful and fun event to bring their families and close friends together for such an important and momentous occasion. Masks, sanitizer, and social distancing practices were all implemented to ensure we would have a safe event.

San Antonio Wedding with Rosa and Victor Garcia

Plans were made, and then they were adjusted, and then they were rescheduled, and adjusted again. In these COVID times, we must be flexible. Rose and Victor had been planning their wedding for eighteen months. However, their wedding day could not have been more perfect, even though the party has been postponed until next year. They celebrated the sacrament of marriage at St. Leo The Great with their close friends and family supporting them with love on July 25, 2020. It was a beautiful, safe and socially distanced Catholic Mass wedding. As Victor was getting ready, he selected a song to play as they exited the church so he would have his first dance with his beautiful bride and all their friends and family around to witness. He knew he had found the perfect song, when he broke down in tears. She was so surprised, and the moment was magical.

After the ceremony we headed downtown to the riverwalk behind the Tobin Center for bridal party photos. We love capturing large bridal parties having fun, and on this day we got some extra dramatic wind for our photos since Hurricane Hanna was just blowing through the area. By special request we also got some epic portraits of Rose and Victor in the theater district. I love a good dramatic bride and groom portrait, and these two lovely people were such a pleasure to capture!
