What did I tell you?  It's not always easy to sit down and count your blessings, and yesterday was one of those busy days.  However, today you get two of the people I am most blessed to have in my life.  

My dad absolutely adores my son and enjoys experiencing life through his young eyes.  Here they are enjoying a warm day in October at South Padre Island.  My dad, Javier Martinez, is a good man, a teacher, a leader and an educator.  I'm grateful to have him as a dad and a grandfather to Isaac.  I know he will teach Isaac to be a good boy, to enjoy life and savor moments like this.
