Expecting Baby #2 - Mother Daughter Maternity Shoot
Sometimes when I'm shooting, it's like all the stars are aligned, everything comes perfectly together and I know this is what I'm meant to be doing. I've had that feeling very often lately, and I feel so blessed to be capturing some of the most beautiful moments for Texan families. This is the second pregnancy portrait I have had the pleasure to produce for Lisette. I love so much that she brought her baby Liana for some beautiful mother daughter portraits as well. When working with a toddler, it's important to be patient, and have a plan to entertain her while she won't be in every photo. Lisette brought her sister-in-law, and we shot at a local city park that had a playground. We took Liana's photos first, and then let her run loose on the jungle gym while my assistant and I focused on this gorgeous mama. Since it was a scorching summer day in July, we waited until after 7 PM and captured some amazing light glowing over Lisette's growing belly.

Vintage Style at Oak Valley Vineyard Wedding
Oak Valley Vineyard overlooks the rolling Texas Hill Country and was the perfect setting for a vintage themed vineyard wedding for the stylish Nicole Vance and Tim Blount. The two planned a prohibition era styled wedding with their close family and friends and then dined at this amazing restaurant. They incorporated a wine ceremony into their wedding to symbolize the two coming together to share one life and one love. Each of their mothers poured a glass of red wine, and the two took their first sip of wine together as husband and wife. After their beautiful ceremony we took a few portraits in the vineyard and then allowed them to enjoy their guests. Nicole and Tim made their getaway in a vintage white car by San Antonio Limo.
Texas Ranch Wedding with Arturo + Angelica
This was definitely one of the most memorable weddings out in Atascosa, Texas. Arturo and Angelica took their vows and the sacrament of marriage at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church and then celebrated with a high energy band and DJ. Congratulations to the beautiful couple. Dominion Country Club Wedding with Danelle + Arturo
On an unusually cool Spring day in San Antonio, we captured the wedding of Danelle and Arturo Mora at The Dominion Country Club. Danelle made a beautiful bride in her crystal and lace off-the-shoulder wedding gown. Her groom met her in the courtyard overlooking the number 18 green as they took their holy vows and committed to a lifetime of loving each other. The wedding party was serenaded by Mariachi Azteca and enjoyed a night of entertainment by the always wonderful Lumen Events. Cheers to the beautiful couple!

La Orilla Del Rio Wedding with Katia + Forrest
We had an amazing evening with Katia and Forrest on April 8, 2017 at La Orilla Del Rio Ballroom. Before making their way to their ceremony, we set up a first look. This was a chance for Katia and Forrest to see each other for the first time on their wedding day and have a moment to take in the beauty of this day. The couple was staying at The Westin Riverwalk, so we set up the scene outside on the San Antonio Riverwalk, placed them in the most beautiful light and captured as the scene unfolded. This also gave us an opportunity to take some gorgeous wedding day photos at the right time of day for light, and freed the couple of to enjoy their guests directly after the ceremony. After pictures were complete, we captured them as they made their walk to La Orilla Del Rio Ballroom. They got married on the terrace of the ballroom overlooking the San Antonio Riverwalk. Their very personal vows conjured tears and laughter, and their friends kept them laughing and dancing all night long. Before the night was over, we stole the couple away for an evening portrait. They rode away in a Bluebonnet carriage after a sparkling sendoff from their amazing family and friends. Thank you so much to Hamilton Wedding Finishing for ensuring a beautiful night to remember!
