Kady and Joshua have to be one of the sweetest couples I've ever had the pleasure of working with.  I just adored how they held hands and looked at each other lovingly throughout their September rainy day wedding in Uvalde, TX.  Even though it pretty much rained throughout the entire day, they were all smiles because they were so happy to be married and to be with the people they love the most.  

Here are a few highlights from their beautiful wedding at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sabinal, TX and their reception at the Uvalde Civic Center.

This year has flown by, and I cannot believe that Baby Mayes has turned 1!  I photographed her parents wedding, it seems like just yesterday.  I was so honored when they invited me to their home to photograph their maternity and newborn session for this sweet little girl.  It's been so fun watching her grow up to a gorgeous, active, smart little girl who loves all things glitz and glam!  Mom says she loves to get into her jewelry and play with her high heel shoes!  What a better way to capture this milestone in a Gatsby themed first birthday cake smash session?  

Amy with Little Muse Cakes and Catering designed a perfect Gatsby themed cake for our cake smash portrait session.  She is so talented! At first, Marissa was not quite sure she wanted a taste of cake, but soon we were having a fun time making a mess!  We even got a good family picture with Mom and Dad.

I had the most darling little visitor to my home studio this month.  Little Emma is turning 1 and we celebrated with a pumpkin themed Cake Smash 1st Birthday photo session.  Each photo session we design for our special little clients is created especially for them.  I discussed with Emma's mom to create this set just for her based on her 1st Birthday party plans and we photographed little Emma in time for her to have prints made before the party.  She was planning a pumpkin birthday party for her September baby. 

It was a special treat to photograph Emma after I photographed her parent's wedding back in 2016.  You can see that beautiful shindig right here:  Dia De Los Muertos Wedding at Southwest School of Art.    Also, fun fact: Bianca was one of the amazing nurses who cared for me at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital after I delivered my little baby last January.  This was not planned or anything, but just a fabulous example of how small town yet big city San Antonio is!
