A romantic walk in the park with Arturo & Angelica

We spent a glorious Sunday afternoon with Arturo a Angelica at The San Antonio Botanical Gardens, photographing their engagement session. I loved Angelica's classy royal blue dress, and Arturo's casual but classic style. Angelica is well on her way to planning a fabulous wedding next April and we can't wait to photograph it. As we made our way through the garden, the couple changed into a more casual jeans look and engaged in a game of chess. Angelica won, not only the game, but Arturo's heart as well. Fall Wedding at Paniolo Ranch with Cy and Alyson

It is so wonderful when you can really feel the personalities of the couple in the style, feel and ambience of their wedding day. Cy and Alyson chose the Central Texas Bed and Breakfast and wedding venue, Paniolo Ranch as the perfect location for their outdoor ceremony. The bridal suite alone, which overlooks the rolling hills of the cattle-lined ranch is such a fabulous reason to get married there. The couple are major foodies and decided to have their favorite Food Truck cater the wedding dinner as well as a salsa bar for their guests to munch as they danced the night away. I love that the resident cat weaved her way in and out of the rock benches during their ceremony. As Alyson walked down the aisle she exclaimed how happy she was to have her closest friends and family around her during this special moment. Congratulations to Cy and Alyson! Video: Ina's Bridal Photoshoot at Southwest School of Art

My first time meeting Ina Minjarez was at her bridal photoshoot at Southwest School of Art on a warm September afternoon. I was blown away by her grace, poise and beauty, and I loved her elegantly ruched taffeta wedding gown with bell train. Southwest School of Art offers an amazing location for a bridal session, with large vaulted ceilings, historic stained glass and magnificent chandeliers. The addition of a stone open air patio leading up to a Gazebo overlooking the San Antonio Riverwalk also adds a perfect outdoor setting for this location. Engagement Photoshoot at Marquardt Ranch

For some couples, an engagement photoshoot can be a little nerve-wracking. When your photographer can find the light, put you there and give you something romantic to do, you have a winning situation! For Tess and Mark, I set up the scene: golden sunset, picnic basket, wine, and a little mosquito repellent! Check out the video of their Marquardt Ranch engagement session:
