Sunday we celebrated our parish's 25th Anniversary Jubilee Mass at St. Anthony Mary Claret, a rapidly growing, young parish in San Antonio, Texas. I remember celebrating Easter Sunday Sunrise Mass at St. Anthony Claret before there was ever a building. We gathered with lawn chairs under the trees and open sky, and it was one of the most memorable mass celebrations of my life. Since that time, the parish has grown from 35 families to over 4,500 and continues to grow under the care and direction of Reverend Jan Klak.
Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller was the celebrant and did a special blessing of the recently installed stations of the cross. So many people dedicate their time and resources to make St. Anthony Mary Claret a beautiful place to practice their faith.
